Write down who you are praying for. Start thinking about everyone on your Christmas list and go ahead and buy a gift or two. Plan a party for friends and write down who you will invite. Think about the books you want to read and cross them off as you read them. Start a list so you can see your progress!

Take a little extra time today to read with your kids. Ask what your son's favorite Bible story is and read it together. Start a new chapter book with your daughter. You could even write and illustrate a book together!

Can you visit a farmers' market today? Stop at a roadside stand? Drive past a field of corn? Even call a friend who has a garden and take the kids over to look at it? Remind your kids that food doesn't just come from the grocery store!

Bless your church staff & volunteers.

Send your pastor an email letting him know you enjoyed the sermon this week. Write the worship pastor a note letting him know how blessed you are through the music. Have the kids color a picture or write a thank you note to their Sunday School teachers or Children's Minister. Pray for all those who serve God by serving you each week!

Clean your computer.

Dust and disinfect this often over-looked germy area.

If you're really in the mood, you can clean off your desk too!

Take a picture.

Don't wait for special occasions to take a picture! Snap one of the kids doing their normal routine. Try to get a picture of the really good dinner you made and everyone eating it. Let the kids take a picture of you. Make today memorable.

Do something nice for a neighbor today.

 

Cross the fence or the street today and talk to a neighbor! Take over a plate of cookies or tomatoes from your garden. Just stop by to hello.

Day 8

Bless your parents and your in-laws.

Make a couple phone calls. Have the kids make them cards. Invite them over for ice cream sometime soon. Pray for them. If your parents or in-laws have passed away, share sweet memories of your time together with your husband and children.

Plan some family game time for this weekend.

See if you can beat your husband in a game of Twister. Invite the cousins over for a Wii tournament. Challenge the kids to Chutes and Ladders. Just have fun together!

Get rid of some of that paper clutter.

Trash it, file it, recycle it- just get rid of it! Where does the paper pile up in your house?

Behind the fridge? The fan blades? The coat closet? Tackle it today and tell us how good it feels. (Even if you're the only one who knows it's clean!)
